Times of struggle and change often bring us to a place of seeking guidance and support, as we encounter inner and outer obstacles that can bring hindrance to our ability to remain open and engaged in relationship with our lives. This is a human struggle, all of us know this experience in one way or another - whether it's tackling feelings of isolation, struggles to find belonging, or dealing with the anxieties, fixations, and inner battles that can plague the mind. As we take that step of seeking contact with another out of a place of suffering, we have already crossed a threshold - that threshold is the willingness to acknowledge there is something deeply good and valuable, special and sacred inside worth protecting.

As a therapist trained in modalities such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Structural Dissociation, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, as well as Buddhist mindfulness techniques, I have spent over fifteen years working with Individuals and families. The purpose of my work has continually been to  support this process of re-claiming the inner place of wisdom and compassion, and finding ways of bringing this healing voice into relationship with parts of the self that carry trauma and wounding.
